Coin shop action
Coin shops have more inventory when prices drop or are low. The public sheople think that when prices are high its time to buy, and when prices are low its time to sell cause IT is not worth a lot anymore. Right now across the US coin shops have low inventory in the brought-in product. So coin shops are ordering more from wholesale suppliers to meet demand and have inventory.
If silver is $23.00 an ounce the public thinks silver is more valuable now so they buy. When silver is $16.00 the public thinks why buy a cheap product. |
Re: Coin shop action
My coin shop doesn't stock (i.e. order) any bullion, but they buy and sell from customers. lately the silver buckets have been empty, and when i ask them about it, they say "oh yeah, it's still coming in. But it leaves just as quickly!"

Re: Coin shop action
I had a favorite PM store I used when I first started buying physical. No big deal... They had- I shopped. That lasted until about 2 years ago. Slowly but surely they had fewer items in stock until now (for the last year maybe) I get emails from the owner every time he gets a wad of goodies. Half the time I reply fast enough to get something. I haven't used this place as my primary source for some time- but I believe this example fits the conversation...
